Brown Sugar Cinnamon Baked Apples are crisp apples mixed with rich brown sugar and cinnamon seasoning, then baked to perfection. Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream for a decadent fall dessert!

  • 6 cups apple peeled and cored slices
  • cup brown sugar packed
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • ¼ cup butter cubed, salted

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. Spray a 9x9-inch baking pan or 2-quart baking dish with pan spray and set aside.
  2. Combine 6 cups peeled and cored apple slices, ⅓ cup packed brown sugar, 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon, and 1 tablespoon lemon juice in a large bowl until all the apples are evenly coated.
  3. Transfer into the prepared baking dish and dot with the ¼ cup cubed salted butter. Bake for 20-25 minutes, stirring once halfway through. Serve warm with ice cream on the side.
