Ingredients

Servings
  • 1 brownie mix boxed
  • Ingredients required for brownie mix usually oil, water, eggs
  • 2 1/4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 cup peanut butter creamy
  • Pinch kosher salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup butter softened, unsalted
  • 1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips
  • 2 teaspoons milk whole
  • vegetable oil as needed

Instructions

  1. Prepare and bake the brownie mix according to the package instructions in a 9x13 inch pan. Allow to cool completely.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together powdered sugar, peanut butter, salt, vanilla, and softened butter until creamy, thick, and smooth. Spread evenly over the cooled brownies.
  3. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring between each, until smooth. Add milk and stir to thin the chocolate slightly. If needed, add 1/2 teaspoon of oil at a time to thin it more until desired consistency.
  4. Pour over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly. Allow to set in the refrigerator before cutting into squares.
