Ingredients
For the filling
- 3 cups shredded rotisserie chicken
- ½ cup buffalo sauce
- ½ cup ranch dressing
- 1 teaspoon Cajun Seasoning
- salt & pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded Mozzarella cheese or more, if you like it extra cheesy!
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese or more, if you like it extra cheesy!
- 1 16-ounce package Kings Hawaiian Rolls
For the topping
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter melted
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
Instructions
- For the filling: Preheat oven to 350°F.
- In a large bowl, mix together the shredded chicken, buffalo sauce, ranch dressing, cajun seasoning, and a bit of salt & pepper.
- Slice the dinner rolls in half horizontally, all the rolls still attached to each other. Place the bottoms in a 9x13-inch baking dish if you have rolls in a rectangular shape, in a round baking dish if your rolls are in a round shape.
- Spoon the chicken mixture onto the rolls, then spread evenly.
- Sprinkle the mozzarella and cheddar over the chicken mixture.
- Place the top half of the dinner rolls over the cheese.
- For the topping: In a small bowl, stir together the melted butter, Italian seasoning, and garlic powder.
- Brush the butter mixture over the top of the dinner rolls.
- Bake: Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 10-15 minutes, or until nicely nicely warmed throughout.
- Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the tops of the rolls are golden brown. Serve hot.
