Buffalo Chicken Tacos Recipe
Description
Buffalo Chicken Tacos Recipe focuses on bite-sized chicken pieces seasoned with chili, onion, and garlic powders, salted and cooked in butter for a browned exterior. The addition of Frank's RedHot sauce, mixed with butter at the end, coats the chicken in a vibrant, tangy sauce characteristic of Buffalo-style dishes. Serving this filling in warm flour tortillas or crisp lettuce wraps allows for customization. Accompanying toppings such as blue cheese provide a sharp contrast, while coleslaw or cabbage adds crunch, and avocado lends creamy notes. The seasoning and cooking method produce a savory, spicy filling that works well for casual meals or parties.
The chicken cooks quickly in the skillet, browning well to seal in juices before being tossed in the buttery hot sauce. This method gives a tender yet flavorful protein base. Using butter in the sauce keeps the texture rich, and the choice of brand hot sauce controls the heat level. The recipe is designed to yield enough filling for eight modestly sized tacos, accommodating several servings.
Enhancing the tacos with blue cheese, coleslaw, and avocado brings textural variety and balances the spiciness. Using either flour tortillas or lettuce wraps lets cooks adjust for dietary preferences or desired crispness. This recipe is practical for casual lunches or dinners, offering a flavorful twist on classic tacos with Buffalo sauce influences.
Plan on stuffing eight 4-inch tortillas generously with the chicken mixture.
