Cadbury Creme Easter Cookies

Cadbury Creme Easter Cookies are soft, cake mix-based cookies that encase a mini Cadbury Creme Egg in each bite. The dough is mixed simply from devil's food cake mix, eggs, and oil, forming a smooth base that bakes quickly. Each ball of dough wraps snugly around a single unwrapped chocolate egg, creating a sweet surprise when bitten into. These cookies bake until just set to keep the chocolate gooey inside.

Description

Using devil's food cake mix as the base, these Cadbury Creme Easter Cookies come together quickly and require minimal ingredients. The dough formed by combining the cake mix, eggs, and canola oil is soft enough to mold around unwrapped mini Cadbury Creme Eggs, creating an indulgent center. Baking at 350°F briefly melts the cream filling while keeping the cookie tender but structured.

The dough balls are placed on a greased cookie sheet before baking for 7-8 minutes until just set. These cookies are best served warm so the chocolate center remains gooey and contrasts with the soft cake-like exterior. The simplicity of the ingredients and method makes this an accessible festive treat for Easter.

Serving these cookies as a seasonal dessert or snack highlights the combination of chocolate and creamy filling sealed inside a cakey cookie shell. Allowing the cookies to cool slightly helps them hold their shape before eating.
