Caesar Salad Recipe
Description
The Caesar Salad Recipe features freshly cut romaine lettuce as its base, providing a crisp, refreshing texture. Homemade croutons are made by slicing a baguette thinly, coating with garlic-infused olive oil and grated Parmesan, then baking until golden and crisp.
The dressing is prepared by whisking minced garlic, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, lemon juice, and red wine vinegar, then slowly emulsifying in olive oil, seasoned with salt and black pepper. This dressing imparts classic creamy and tangy Caesar flavors.
The salad is assembled by tossing the chopped romaine with the dressing and topping with the crunchy Parmesan croutons and additional shredded or shaved Parmesan cheese. This salad works well as a starter or side dish with a balanced combination of textures and bold seasoning.
The recipe makes enough croutons for multiple salads or servings, allowing for easy portioning and consistent texture.
