Cajun Baked Shrimp
Description
The Cajun Baked Shrimp recipe takes shelled, deveined shrimp and marinates them in a combination of olive oil, Cajun seasoning, lemon juice, fresh parsley, honey, soy sauce, and a hint of cayenne pepper if desired. The marinade blends spices with a touch of sweetness and acidity, coating the shrimp well before baking.
After marinating, the shrimp are baked at a high temperature until cooked thoroughly. The result is shrimp that are tender yet have a slight firmness, with a well-balanced seasoning that includes herbal notes from parsley and brightness from lemon wedges served alongside.
This dish is served warm, accompanied by grilled French bread to soak up juices. It pairs well with side dishes such as Cajun Dirty Rice, highlighting the bold flavors of the marinade.
