These Candied Pecans have a delicious crunchy shell and a sweet caramelized pecan flavor with a dash of cinnamon. They’re the perfect snack and so delicious.

Ingredients
- 2 cups pecan halves
- 1 large egg white
- 1 tablespoon water
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup light brown sugar packed
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 300 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, add in the sugar, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk until everything is incorporated.
- In a large mixing bowl, add in the egg white, water, and vanilla. Whisk until the mixture becomes very frothy. It will probably take 3-4 minutes of whisking.
- Add the pecans into the egg white mixture and mix until the pecans are evenly coated.
- Add half of the sugar mixture into the pecans and mix until the pecans are all coated.
- Once the pecans are coated, add in the rest of the sugar and give it a good stir.
- Place the pecans on the baking sheet. Make sure they are all spread out.
- Place in the preheated oven and bake for 45 minutes. Flip the pecans every 15 minutes so they don’t burn.
