Candy Grapes Recipe

Candy Grapes are green seedless grapes coated in colorful gelatin powders for a sweet, tangy, and visually appealing snack. The grapes are rinsed and soaked briefly in lime juice and water before being rolled on toothpicks through various gelatin flavors to create a crisp, flavored candy shell. This process adds a fun texture contrast to the fresh grapes without cooking or baking.

Description

This Candy Grapes recipe involves washing and removing stems from chilled green seedless grapes, then coating them with a mixture of lime juice and water to help the gelatin powder adhere. Each grape is impaled on a toothpick and rolled through different flavors of dry gelatin powder to create a candy-like coating. The gelatin hardens slightly as the grapes rest on parchment paper, forming a thin, flavorful crust while keeping the inside juicy and fresh.

The resulting snack offers a crisp and colorful contrast to the natural sweetness and juiciness of the grapes. This no-bake, chilled recipe works well as a refreshing party treat or unique dessert element.

Candy grapes should be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days or frozen for up to 3 months to retain their texture and flavor. To serve, enjoy them soon after coating to preserve the gelatin crust's crispness.
