  • 12 to 16 ounces mozzarella aka bocconcini or ciliegine, marinated, balls
  • 8 basil or to taste, fresh leaves
  • salt to taste, Kosher salt
  • black pepper to taste, Kosher salt
  • balsamic glaze optional, to taste, or balsamic reduction

Instructions

  1. Rinse tomatoes and basil. Cut about half of the cherry tomatoes in half and place in a serving bowl.

  3. Tear basil leaves and place them over the top. Sprinkle with Kosher salt and fresh ground pepper to taste. Drizzle with balsamic glaze (optional). Serve at room temperature.
