Caramel Coconut Macadamia Nut Pie

This Caramel Coconut Macadamia Nut Pie combines a rich corn syrup and egg filling with crunchy macadamia nuts and shredded coconut in a classic pie crust. Baked until set, the pie is topped with whipped cream, additional coconut flakes, and caramel sauce for a layered texture and sweetness.

Description

The Caramel Coconut Macadamia Nut Pie features a custard-like filling with corn syrup and eggs providing a firm, glossy texture. Melted butter and vanilla add richness and depth to the sweet base. Chopped macadamia nuts and shredded coconut mixed into the filling bring crunch and tropical flavor throughout.

Baked in a 9-inch pie crust until the center sets, the pie develops a slightly chewy, caramelized top and a tender interior. Once cooled, it is garnished with whipped cream, coconut flakes, and drizzled caramel sauce, enhancing the layered flavors and textures with creaminess and extra sweetness.

This dessert suits occasions where a rich, nutty pie is desired and can be served chilled or at room temperature. Its combination of nuts and coconut offers a distinctive tropical profile alongside traditional caramel notes.

It is noted that the recipe fits a deep dish pie crust; if using a regular pie crust, any excess filling should be discarded to avoid overflow during baking.
