Caramel Marshmallow Popcorn
Description
Start with 12 cups of fully popped popcorn, free from unpopped kernels, as they can be hard and unpleasant to bite. The caramel sauce is made by melting butter and brown sugar together over medium heat until combined. Adding large marshmallows and stirring until smooth creates a thick, sticky coating that envelops the popcorn. Mixing the warm caramel mixture with popcorn gently ensures even coverage without crushing the popcorn pieces.
The result is a sweet, chewy snack with buttery caramel flavor and soft marshmallow texture. This treat works well for movie nights, parties, or dessert occasions where a handheld, shareable snack is desired. It can be spread on a baking sheet to cool and harden slightly before serving.
