Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter softened
  • ½ cup peanut butter
  • ½ cup white granulated sugar
  • ½ cup light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 Tablespoons buttermilk or regular milk
  • 1-1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¾ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup crushed mini pretzels
  • ½ cup caramel bits

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Cover a cookie sheet with parchment paper or spray a cookie sheet with cooking spray.
  2. In a large bowl mix together butter, peanut butter, white sugar and brown sugar. Mix in vanilla and buttermilk (or milk.)
  3. In a separate bowl stir together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  4. Add the flour mixture into the peanut butter mixture. Stir until just combined.
  5. Stir in pretzels and caramel bits until thoroughly distributed.
  6. Drop by tablespoonful onto a cooking sheet covered with parchment paper.
  7. Bake for 10 minutes.
  8. Cool on a baking rack.
