  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 3/4 cup butter room temperature, unsalted
  • 1 1/3 cup sugar
  • 4 lrg egg white
  • 1 1/3 cup champagne or sparkling wine
  • 2 tsp vanilla extract or vanilla bean paste, high quality

Buttercream:

  • 1 cup butter room temperature, unsalted
  • 3 cups icing sugar
  • 4-6 tbsp sparkling wine or champagne
  • 2 tsp vanilla bean paste or quality vanilla extract

Assembly:

  • 1 tbsp nonpareils or sprinkles
