Champagne Margarita Recipe (Mexican 75)
Description
This cocktail begins by rimming a glass with sea salt, a traditional touch that introduces a savory contrast to the drink's bright and sweet notes. Tequila, lime juice, and agave syrup are stirred with ice to chill and blend the flavors evenly. The mixture is then strained into the prepared glass, maintaining clarity and coldness.
The final element is the sparkling wine poured on top, which adds lively bubbles, subtle fruitiness, and a dry finish that balances the sweetness of the agave and tart lime juice. Garnishing with a lime wedge or twist enhances the citrus aroma and provides an attractive presentation.
The Champagne Margarita offers a sophisticated variation on the traditional margarita, combining the tang of tequila and lime with celebratory sparkling wine, suitable for special occasions or casual enjoyment.
