Cheeseburger Pasta
Description
In this recipe, ground beef is cooked and browned before mixing with cream cheese, cheddar, and milk along with garlic and onion powders for seasoning. As the cheeses melt, they merge into a smooth, creamy sauce that clings to the al dente pasta once combined. The garlic and onion powders add subtle depth without overpowering the cheeseburger-inspired taste.
The pasta provides a tender, slightly firm base while the sauce delivers creamy sharpness and meaty richness from the beef. The recipe is straightforward, allowing for an easy meal that focuses on cheesy comfort and familiar flavors.
For a saucier dish, you can reduce the amount of pasta or increase the sauce components to suit your texture preferences, making it adaptable for different appetites or occasions.
Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef lean
- ½ teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon onion powder
- 16 ounces pasta (uncooked)
- 8 ounces cream cheese
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese sharp
- 1 cup milk
Instructions
- Cook pasta per package instructions to al dente.
- While pasta is cooking, brown the hamburger meat in a large skillet, breaking it up as it cooks. Once it is done, drain any excess grease and return the meat to the skillet.
- Add the cream cheese, cheddar cheese, and seasonings (garlic powder, salt, and onion powder) to the meat and stir until it is melted and combined.
- Slowly add the milk while continuously stirring to make a sauce.
- Add the cooked pasta into the sauce and stir to coat. Serve immediately. Enjoy!
Notes
- To increase sauciness, use less pasta or double the sauce ingredients.
