Cheesy Ham and Potato Casserole
Description
Cheesy Ham and Potato Casserole brings together frozen hash brown potatoes and cooked ham in a creamy mixture that includes condensed potato soup and sour cream, creating a smooth and savory base. The red bell pepper adds subtle sweetness and crunch. The mixture is combined with sharp cheddar cheese and seasoned with salt, garlic powder, onion powder, and freshly ground black pepper. Once assembled in a baking dish, it's topped with freshly shredded Parmesan cheese and crumbled cooked bacon. Baking at 375°F until the cheese is bubbly and golden creates a casserole with a creamy interior and a textured, flavorful topping.
The casserole offers a balance of hearty ingredients and creamy sauce, providing a satisfying mouthfeel perfect for a family meal or potluck. It pairs well with simple green vegetables or a salad for a complete meal.
