Description

The broccoli is placed in a buttered oven-safe dish along with cubed ham and grated cheddar cheese. A mixture of beaten eggs, milk, salt, and pepper is poured over the ingredients before baking at 180°C (350°F) for 30 to 40 minutes.
During baking, the egg custard cooks through, firming up and melding the flavors while melting the cheddar into a creamy, cheesy topping that holds the casserole together. Ingredients
- 3 cups broccoli fresh or frozen, florets
- 1 cup ham (deli or leftover ham)
- 1 cup cheddar cheese grated
- 5 egg
- ¼ cup milk
- ¼ teaspoon salt

- 1 tablespoon butter for greasing
Instructions
- Add the broccoli florets to a pan with salted water and bring to a boil.
- Cook for 3-4 minutes until the broccoli is slightly tender, then drain the water well.

- Cut the ham into cubes, and add it to the broccoli.
- Top with the grated cheese.
- In a bowl, beat the eggs, add the milk, salt and pepper and give it a good stir.
- Pour it over the other ingredients.
- Bake in the preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius (350 Fahrenheit) for 30-40 minutes or until the egg is cooked, and the cheese is melted.
