Cheesy Meatball Bake

This Cheesy Meatball Bake features seasoned ground beef meatballs broiled until browned, then topped with marinara sauce and melted mozzarella cheese. The meatballs include garlic, parmesan, breadcrumbs, egg, and seasoning for flavor and structure. Broiling ensures a browned exterior while keeping the meatballs tender inside. Topped with cheese and parsley, this bake offers a hearty, saucy main dish.

Description

The Cheesy Meatball Bake combines ground beef with minced garlic, parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, egg, and seasoning for a flavorful meatball mixture. Meatballs sized about 1 1/2 inches are broiled until browned and cooked through, producing a savory crust. After browning, marinara sauce is poured over the meatballs, followed by shredded mozzarella cheese, which is melted and lightly browned under the broiler.

The melted cheese complements the savory meatballs and tangy marinara, creating a rich and satisfying dish. Sprinkled with fresh parsley, it offers a pleasant herbal note. This dish is ideal served hot, suitable for dinner or a casual gathering.

The broiling step enables quick cooking and appealing browning without drying the meatballs, while the cheese topping adds texture and flavor contrast. It requires minimal preparation yet delivers layered flavors from the Parmesan and marinara combination.
