A cheesy tortellini bake is a comforting dish that combines tender tortellini pasta, smothered in a rich tomato sauce and a generous blend of melted cheeses, baked to golden perfection.

Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 pound ground beef lean
- 1 onion small, diced
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 2 tbsp white wine dry
- 28 oz crushed tomatoes can; whole peeled tomatoes crushed by hand

- 8 oz tomato sauce can
- 1 tablespoon Italian seasoning dried
- 1 ½ teaspoons kosher salt
- ¼ tsp black pepper fresh ground
- 24 oz fresh cheese tortellini package
- 3 cups mozzarella cheese freshly grated
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a large skillet, sautee onions in olive oil until soft. Add garlic and cook for addtional minute. Add the white wine to the pan to deglaze the bottom. Cook off for 3-4 minutes.
- Add ground beef and brown.
- Once beef is cooked stir in crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce. Season with salt, pepper and Italian seasoning.
- Stir in uncooked, fresh tortellini and 1 1/2 cups of mozzarella cheese.
- Transfer to greased casserole dish and sprinkle remaining cheese over the top.
- Cover tightly with foil and baked at 350 degrees for about 40 minutes or until hot and bubbly.
