Cheesy Tortellini Pasta Recipe

Cheesy Tortellini Pasta features cheese-filled tortellini coated in a creamy garlic butter sauce thickened with flour and enriched with Parmesan cheese. The sauce is gently cooked and blends milk and chicken broth for a smooth texture, finished with fresh parsley for brightness.

Description

This recipe uses frozen or fresh cheese tortellini cooked according to package instructions, providing tender, filled pasta pockets. The sauce is made by melting butter and sautéing minced garlic briefly, then adding flour to create a roux. Milk and chicken broth are gradually whisked in to form a creamy base that thickens upon boiling.

Grated Parmesan cheese melts into the sauce, adding savory depth and a slight nuttiness. Seasonings like salt and black pepper are adjusted to taste. The cooked tortellini is folded gently into the sauce to ensure each piece is coated thoroughly. A sprinkling of fresh chopped parsley adds mild herbal freshness and visual appeal.

This dish is suitable for a comforting dinner served alone or alongside a simple green salad. It offers a rich, creamy texture balanced by tender pasta and garlic flavor.
