Cherry Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe

This Cherry Vanilla Ice Cream blends instant vanilla pudding mix and real eggs to create a creamy, rich base with a smooth texture. Frozen dark cherries add bursts of tart sweetness throughout the ice cream, making it a flavorful treat. The mix is churned in an ice cream maker until set, ready to serve immediately or be stored for later enjoyment.

Description

The recipe starts by whisking vanilla pudding mix, sugar, whole eggs, evaporated milk, and fresh milk until smooth, creating a rich ice cream base. The inclusion of eggs and pudding mix contributes to a creamy texture without the need for custard cooking steps. Dark frozen cherries, including their juice, are folded in for bursts of fruit flavor and color.

The mixture is churned in an ice cream maker for about 30 minutes until it thickens and freezes into a smooth ice cream. It can be served immediately for a soft-serve texture or stored in a sealed container to harden further in the freezer.
