Chewy Monster Cookies

Chewy Monster Cookies combine peanut butter and oats with both mini chocolate candies and chocolate chips to create a textured, sweet cookie that's soft and dense. The mixture of sugars and eggs binds the oats and peanut butter for a hearty, chewy chew, while the colorful candy bits add bursts of sweetness. These cookies bake quickly to maintain their tender interior.

Description

Chewy Monster Cookies bring together light brown sugar and granulated sugar with eggs to provide moisture and structure. A creamy peanut butter along with softened butter is mixed in to give richness and chewiness. Old-fashioned oats add hearty texture, while baking soda creates lightness. Mini multi-colored chocolate candies plus chocolate chips are stirred into the dough to create sweet pockets amid the dense yet tender dough. The cookie dough is portioned by tablespoon and baked for 8 to 10 minutes to keep a chewy, moist center with slightly crisp edges.

These cookies store well in resealable bags and can be served as a snack or dessert. Their chewy texture and peanut-chocolate combination make them a satisfying treat with varied texture sensations from candies and chips.
