Chick-fil-A Chicken Tortilla Soup
Description
This soup features a sautéed base of onions and garlic seasoned with cumin, oregano, and salt to establish a flavorful foundation. Two cans of cannellini beans are pureed to add creaminess and body, while the remaining whole beans, diced tomatoes with green chilis, cream-style corn, whole kernel corn, and black beans provide texture and color. Tender shredded chicken is folded in and gently simmered to combine the components and develop a rich flavor profile. The addition of fresh lime juice brightens the soup’s overall taste.
The result is a thick, hearty soup that balances the earthiness of beans with the sweetness of corn and mild heat from diced green chilies. It can be enjoyed on its own or garnished with toppings like tortilla strips, cheese, sour cream, or avocado to add contrast and layers of flavor.
Leftovers keep well refrigerated for up to five days, making this soup practical for meal prep or multiple servings. Reheating preserves its comforting warmth and flavor.
