Ingredients
- 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
Dry Herb Rub
- 1 ½ tablespoons kosher salt
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1 teaspoon sage
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon sugar
Sauce
- ¾ cup heavy whipping cream
- 4 ounces cream cheese, softened
- ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- ¼ teaspoon red pepper flakes
- ⅕ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon salt
- ½ pound bacon, cooked and crumbled
- ½ pound dry penne pasta
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to high heat while you prepare the chicken.
- Add the dry rub ingredients in a small bowl and mix to combine. Rub the mixture on each side of the chicken breasts.
- Grill the chicken for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until no longer pink.
- Cook the penne pasta according to package directions until al dente. Drain and rinse the pasta in hot water. Set aside.
- In a large saucepan add the heavy cream and cream cheese. Heat together until smooth and the cream cheese has melted. Add garlic powder, red pepper flakes, pepper, and salt.
- Lastly, whisk in the parmesan cheese. Continue to cook over medium heat until heated throughout. Add the crumbled bacon.
- Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and stir to combine.
- Slice the chicken and serve with the pasta mixture then enjoy!
