Chicken Fried Chicken is quick-cooking, crowd pleasing, Southern comfort food at its finest! Crispy on the outside and juicy tender on the inside!

Ingredients
Fried Chicken
- 4 chicken breasts *boneless, skinless
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 4 eggs
- 1/3 cup water
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
Gravy
- 1/2 cup flour
- 2 cups evaporated milk
- 4 cups milk
- 1 1/2 teaspoon poultry seasoning
- salt to taste

Instructions
- Heat oil on medium high heat. *I highly suggest a cast iron skillet for this recipe, but any skillet will work for this!!
- Pound each chicken breast lightly to tenderize and flatten.
- Combine the flour, salt, pepper, and garlic in a flat dish.
- In a separate dish, combine the eggs and water.
- Lightly coat each chicken breast in the flour mixture, then the egg mixture, and back into the flour mixture.
- Repeat process until all chicken is coated.
- Working in batches of two breasts each, place chicken into heated oil and fry for about 8 minutes, or until chicken is golden brown and juices run clear.
- Set cooked chicken aside on some paper towels to absorb any excess oil.
- To make gravy, using the same skillet with leftover drippings from chicken, add in the flour and stir until bubbly and brown.
- Add in remaining ingredients and whisk until smooth and combined.
- Allow to simmer until thickened!
- Pour gravy over chicken prior to serving and enjoy!!
