Instructions

  1. Cut the cooked chicken into bite-size pieces and set aside.
  2. Add the brown sugar, sesame oil, soy sauce and chicken broth to a small bowl and whisk to combine making sure the sugar is dissolved. (Or, you can add the ingredients to a mason jar, tighten the lid and shake to combine.)
  3. In a medium pan, heat a few tablespoons of sesame oil over medium-high heat. Add the mushrooms and cook until slightly browned. Remove and set aside.
  4. Add additional oil if necessary and then add the garlic and remaining vegetables and sauté until crisp tender. (You may need to add a splash extra of broth or water to assist with cooking/steaming the veggies.)
  5. Once cooked through, add the mushrooms and chicken back to the pan. Add the cooked noodles to the same pan.
  6. Pour the sauce over the top and use a tongs to mix together.
  7. Serve immediately!

Notes

  • If you choose to cook the chicken yourself, either pat dry and grill or cook in a frying pan over medium high heat with a Tablespoon of cooking oil until it reaches 165 degrees. Remove from heat and set aside.
