Chicken Ranch Bacon Taco Boats
Description
Chicken Ranch Bacon Taco Boats bring together cooked chicken coated in ranch dressing seasoned with garlic powder, baked inside soft flour tortilla boats. The dish is topped with shredded cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon, then baked briefly until the cheese melts and the chicken is heated through. Finally, sliced green onions add a mild fresh bite.
The texture contrasts between the soft taco shells and the creamy, cheesy filling complement each other well. This recipe allows flexibility in how to cook the chicken—whether pan-fried with salt and pepper or utilizing rotisserie chicken—making it accessible for different preparation times and preferences.
This dish works well as an easy dinner or as a party food, served warm and topped with savory bacon and bright green onions. The quick baking ensures the cheese melts nicely without drying the chicken.
The recipe suggests baking at 350 °F for 5 to 8 minutes but mentions microwaving as a suitable alternative to reheat the assembled boats, providing convenience when oven use isn't preferred.
