Chikoo Milkshake

Chikoo Milkshake is a smooth beverage made from ripe chikoo fruit blended with milk and sweetened with coconut sugar or your choice of sweetener. The blend produces a creamy, naturally sweet drink that highlights the soft texture and flavor of chikoo. Optional ice cubes can be added for a chilled refreshment. This milkshake is best served fresh to preserve its creamy texture and flavor.

Description

The chikoo milkshake combines peeled and deseeded chikoo fruit pieces with milk in a blender, sweetened according to taste with coconut sugar or alternatives like unrefined cane sugar or white sugar. Blending until smooth creates a thick, creamy milkshake that showcases the chikoo’s natural sweetness and soft texture.

The recipe allows for optional ice cubes, which can be added at serving time to chill and slightly dilute the drink if desired. It is recommended to consume the milkshake immediately as it does not keep well; freshness ensures the best texture and flavor.

This shake offers a simple way to enjoy chikoo, also known as sapota or sapodilla, and can be adjusted in sweetness or milk type, including plant-based milks like soy, almond, or cashew, depending on dietary preference.
