Chimichurri Salmon

Chimichurri Salmon is a straightforward dish where skinless salmon fillets marinate in a herbaceous cilantro chimichurri mixture, then bake until tender and flaky. The marinade imparts fresh, tangy flavors, enhancing the salmon's natural richness.

Description

This recipe involves seasoning salmon fillets with salt and pepper, then rubbing them with a cilantro-based chimichurri sauce made of herbs and oil. After a brief marinating period of 15-20 minutes, the fish is baked at 425°F until cooked through. For a crisp surface, a few minutes of broiling at the end caramelize the top.

The chimichurri provides a bright, aromatic contrast to the salmon's buttery texture. Baking preserves the moistness while allowing the flavors to meld.

Serving the salmon with additional chimichurri on top adds a fresh burst at the table and can complement side dishes such as rice, vegetables, or salads.
