Choco Pillow Bites

Choco Pillow Bites are no-bake treats made by mixing melted milk chocolate and salted butter with crushed hazelnut-flavored choco pillows. The mixture is pressed into a tray, decorated with extra melted chocolate, then chilled until firm. They have a rich, chocolatey taste with a crunchy, nutty texture from the pillows, making them a sweet snack or dessert bite.

Description

This recipe starts with crushing choco pillows into coarse pieces, which add a crunchy, nutty flavor. Milk chocolate and salted butter are melted together and combined with the crushed pillows, then pressed into a parchment-lined tray to set. The top is decorated with leftover melted chocolate to add an extra chocolate element and appearance. Chilling the mixture for at least two hours allows it to firm up enough to be cut into neat bites.

The finished bites combine creamy, smooth chocolate with the texture of the broken pillows for contrast. The butter adds richness and a slight saltiness that balances the sweetness of the chocolate and provides a smooth mouthfeel. These treats require no oven time, making them convenient to prepare.

Proper refrigeration is crucial to achieve clean slices and maintain shape when serving. Once set, the bites can be stored chilled and served as a snack or dessert portion. Decorating with chocolate patterns adds visual appeal, but the bites can be enjoyed plain.
