Chocolate Almond Flour Cookies
Description
The Chocolate Almond Flour Cookies are prepared by mixing dry ingredients—almond flour, coconut flour, cacao powder, baking soda, baking powder, and salt—then incorporating wet ingredients including almond butter, honey, egg, milk, and neutral oil. After folding in chocolate chips, the cookie dough is portioned onto a baking tray and lightly pressed before baking at 350°F for 20 minutes.
These cookies expand modestly and yield a very soft and delicate texture when taken fresh from the oven, so they should be cooled fully on the baking sheet to develop firmness. Their flavor is nuttily rich with deep chocolate notes from both the cacao and chips, offering a satisfying chocolate-almond combination.
Using parchment paper or a silicone baking mat helps prevent sticking and eases cleanup. Though optional, a drizzle of melted chocolate or a simple ganache can add an attractive finishing touch. The portion size guided by a 2 to 2.7-ounce scoop helps achieve uniform cookie sizes and consistent baking.
