Chocolate Brownie Recipe for One (Brownie In a Mug)

This single-serving Chocolate Brownie in a Mug combines melted butter, sugar, cocoa, flour, and water with chocolate chips for a quick baked treat made easily in the microwave. It produces a moist and rich brownie with a soft center and slightly crisp top when cooked just right. It’s convenient when you want an individual dessert without fuss or waste.

Description

The Chocolate Brownie Recipe for One uses melted butter mixed with sugar, cocoa powder, all-purpose flour, and water to form a chocolate batter with chocolate chips stirred through. This batter is microwaved in a mug for one minute, then rested briefly before serving. The technique produces a warm, tender brownie that is moist inside with a soft texture due to the quick microwave cooking.

Chocolate chips inside and on top add pockets of melted richness. The recipe’s short cooking time helps retain moisture and prevents rubbery texture. The mug form allows for single-serve convenience ideal for small cravings or portion control.

Serve the brownie warm or cooled slightly, optionally topped with whipped cream or ice cream for extra indulgence. Adjust microwave times as needed to avoid overcooking, which can dry out the brownie.
