Ingredients
- 1 cup + + 1½ tbsp flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 butter softened to room temperature, unsalted, stick
- ⅓ cup white sugar of
- ½ cup brown sugar
- 1 egg room temperature, large
- ½ tsp vanilla extract
- ½ cup dried cherries
- ½ cup semi sweet chocolate chips mini
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Coat an 8 x 8-inch baking dish with cooking spray.
- Combine the flour with the baking soda and salt then mix well.
- Using a mixer, beat the butter together with the sugars until creamy and smooth.
- Add the egg and vanilla then beat until mixed thoroughly.
- Slowly add the flour mixture to the butter mixture until combined.
- Add the cherries and chocolate chips then mix.
- Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- Place into the oven and bake for 28 minutes or until a tester inserted in the center comes out clean.
- Remove from the oven and let them cool in the pan before slicing and serving. Enjoy.
