This Chocolate Cherry Smoothie is packed with protein, antioxidants and decadent flavor! Tart, frozen cherries combined with a rich chocolate protein powder make this smoothie so thick and tasty. It feels so indulgent, but is really healthy!

Ingredients

  • 1 cup frozen cherry medley
  • ½-1 cup milk I use Fairlife Chocolate Milk
  • 1 scoop (30 grams) chocolate protein powder Clean Simple Eats
  • cup vanilla Greek Yogurt Two Good
  • ¼ tsp almond extract
  • 2 tsp mini chocolate chips optional

Instructions

  1. Add all of the ingredients to a high speed blender. Use the full cup of milk for thinner consistency.
  2. Blend on high speed for 45-60 seconds until smooth throughout or until all of the cherries are blended. Stop the blender once halfway through and use your rubber spatula to scrape down the sides.
  3. Pour into a glass and enjoy!

Notes

  • If you’d like a thicker consistency for a smoothie bowl, use less milk. If you want to drink it with a straw, you can add more milk.

  • You can add in the chocolate chips for just the last few seconds and they’ll stay in larger pieces for more of a cherry chip smoothie if you want that added texture.
