This chocolate chip cookies no brown sugar recipe is a new twist on an amazing classic. It's the perfect way to enjoy fresh baked cookies when you don't have brown sugar on hand!

Ingredients
- 1 ½ cups butter softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 3 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ teaspoons baking soda
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups milk chocolate chips

Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350ºF.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.
- Add egg and vanilla. Beat again.
- Add flour, baking soda, and salt. Beat again until dough is uniform.
- Stir in chocolate chips.
- Using a tablespoon cookie dough scoop, place balls of dough on a greased baking sheet.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes or until edges turn golden brown. After 5 minutes allow cookies to cool on wire rack.
Notes
- Use a cookie scoop to ensure all your cookies are the same size and will bake evenly.
- Make sure not to crowd the cookies on the pan because these cookies will spread.
- Allow chocolate chip cookies to cool on the cookie sheet for at least 5 minutes. Then transfer them to cooling racks to finish cooling.
- You control the texture! For chewy cookies bake your cookies for about 6 minutes in total but for crunchier edges and a softer center, bake for 8-9 minutes total.
