Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies

These Chocolate Chip Pecan Cookies are soft-centered with golden edges, combining both semi-sweet and mini chocolate chips for varied texture and chocolate flavor. Chopped pecans add crunch and nutty richness, balanced by a classic cookie dough of butter, sugars, vanilla, and eggs. Baking briefly keeps the centers tender while achieving a lightly crisp exterior, making them enjoyable fresh or kept for a few days.

Description

This recipe yields cookies blending semi-sweet and mini chocolate chips within a buttery dough enriched by brown and granulated sugars. The inclusion of chopped pecans introduces a crunch that complements the melty chocolate. After creaming the butter and sugars, the dough is mixed just until combined to preserve tenderness. Baking at 350°F for 8-9 minutes produces cookies with soft centers and golden edges. Cooling briefly before transferring helps them set without losing softness.

The resulting cookies provide a classic texture and flavor profile combining sweet chocolate and nutty notes. They can be served warm for a soft melt or stored in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days without losing freshness. Perfect for a quick homemade treat or sharing.
