Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie Recipe

This cookie recipe combines brown sugar, white sugar, butter, and oil with eggs and baking agents to create a tender cookie dough. The addition of milk chocolate chips and chopped walnuts adds both sweetness and crunchy texture, resulting in classic, chewy chocolate chip walnut cookies.

Description

The Chocolate Chip Walnut Cookie Recipe starts by creaming together butter, vegetable oil, and sugars to form a smooth base, then eggs are beaten in to add richness. Leavening agents including baking soda and baking powder help the cookies rise and achieve a tender crumb. Vanilla extract adds flavor depth. Flour is mixed in to create dough, then chopped walnuts and milk chocolate chips are folded in for texture and sweetness.

The dough is portioned into balls and baked at 350°F for 8 to 10 minutes, allowing the edges to set while maintaining a soft center. This balance results in cookies with a pleasant chew and soft crumb. The walnuts add a nutty crunch, complementing the creamy melted chocolate chips.

The recipe works well for those craving classic chocolate chip cookies enhanced by walnut pieces, suitable for snacks, desserts, or sharing.
