Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Pretzels

Chocolate Covered Peanut Butter Pretzels are bite-sized treats made by sandwiching creamy peanut butter filling between two mini pretzels, then dipping half of each sandwich into melted semi-sweet chocolate. Once the chocolate hardens, the result is a combination of salty, crunchy pretzels with smooth peanut butter and a sweet chocolate coating.

Description

This recipe starts with a creamy filling made by mixing peanut butter, room temperature unsalted butter, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar until smooth. A spoonful of this mixture is sandwiched between two mini pretzels, forming small peanut butter pretzel bites. These are then partially dipped in melted semi-sweet chocolate, providing a sweet contrast to the salty pretzel and rich peanut butter center.

The chocolate is melted gently in short microwave bursts to avoid burning, then sandwiches are dipped and placed on parchment-lined trays and chilled to set. The chilled chocolate coating becomes firm, creating a pleasing texture combination when bitten.

These treats balance salty, sweet, creamy, and crunchy elements in a small, easy-to-eat size. They are suitable for sharing, snacking, or gifting.
