Chocolate Peanut Clusters

Chocolate Peanut Clusters bring together melted semi-sweet chocolate and whole peanuts dropped onto parchment to set into bite-sized treats. The clusters offer a balance of creamy smooth chocolate and crunchy salted peanuts, customizable with optional toppings like flaky sea salt or coconut for texture and flavor enhancements.

Description

This recipe melts semi-sweet chocolate gently in short bursts and vigorous stirring to ensure smoothness without burning. Whole peanuts are stirred into the melted chocolate, coating each nut thoroughly. Spoonfuls of the mixture are dropped onto parchment paper to cool and solidify, forming irregular clusters.

Once set, the clusters provide a satisfying contrast between silky chocolate and crunchy peanuts. Optional toppings like flaky sea salt or coconut flakes can be sprinkled just before the chocolate firms to introduce additional texture and flavor dimensions.

The clusters can be cooled at room temperature or refrigerated for faster setting. Depending on ambient temperature, they can be stored either on the counter or chilled. These treats require no baking and allow flexible portion sizing for easy snacking.
