Chocolate Protein Shake
Description
The Chocolate Protein Shake uses a blend of chocolate protein powder and unsweetened cocoa powder to create a rich chocolate base. Frozen ripe banana adds natural sweetness and thickness, while almond milk thins the mixture to drinkable consistency. Ice cubes adjust the thickness based on preference. The shake is blended until smooth and peanut butter powder is folded in to add a nutty, creamy component and boost protein content without excess fat.
Optional mix-ins like Rice Krispies cereal, cacao nibs, and flake salt provide texture variation and enhance the flavor profile. The shake can be customized by substituting sweeteners or milk alternatives. It is suitable for a post-workout snack or nutritious treat.
Adjustments can be made for those who are nut-free by using different plant-based milk and omitting peanut butter powder. Additional ice can be added for a thicker texture.
