Chocolate Zucchini Brownie Recipe

Chocolate Zucchini Brownies blend shredded zucchini into a classic chocolate brownie batter, contributing moisture and subtle texture without overpowering the rich cocoa flavor. Sweetened with both white and light brown sugar and enhanced by vanilla extract and semi-sweet chocolate chips, these brownies bake into a moist, tender treat with deep chocolate notes and a hint of earthiness from the zucchini.

Description

This Chocolate Zucchini Brownie recipe incorporates finely shredded zucchini directly into the batter along with cocoa powder, flour, and sugars. The zucchini adds moisture and a subtle vegetable note that helps keep the brownies soft and fudgy without making them taste like zucchini. The batter combines vegetable oil with white and brown sugars and vanilla before mixing in the dry ingredients, chocolate chips, and zucchini. Baking until just done ensures a tender texture that passes the toothpick test. The brownies have a deep chocolate flavor with the added richness of melted chocolate chips. They are best cooled fully before slicing to allow the texture to set. These brownies serve well as a dessert or snack, offering a creative way to add vegetable content into a traditionally indulgent treat.
