Christmas Chex Mix Recipe

Christmas Chex Mix blends crunchy rice Chex, pretzels, and Cheerios with peanuts and festive M&Ms, all coated in melted white almond bark to form sweet clusters. This snack mix combines sweet and salty elements with varied textures, making it a holiday favorite for parties or casual snacking. The melting and coating step binds the ingredients into bite-sized clusters.

Description

The mix involves combining dry cereal varieties along with pretzels, peanuts, and colorful Christmas M&Ms in a bowl. White almond bark is melted separately and then poured over this mixture. Stirring thoroughly ensures an even coating, and spreading the mixture on waxed paper allows it to set into clusters. The almond bark adds sweetness and a creamy texture that contrasts with the crunchiness of the cereals and nuts.

Making a double batch can supply a larger quantity suitable for gatherings. The Chex mix can be chilled briefly after coating to firm up, making it easier to break into clusters for serving.

This recipe provides a festive snack that pairs well with cold beverages and is commonly enjoyed during holiday events for its colorful and flavorful appeal.
