Christmas Magic Cookie Bars

Christmas Magic Cookie Bars layer a buttery graham cracker crust with sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, coconut, and holiday M&M candies. Baked until lightly browned and sliced into bars, they combine crunchy, chewy, and chocolatey textures with festive colors, making a fun dessert or snack during holiday seasons.

Description

This recipe starts with a crust made from graham cracker crumbs and melted butter pressed into a baking pan. Sweetened condensed milk is poured evenly over the crust, then layered with flaked coconut, chocolate chips, and brightly colored holiday M&M candies. Additional toppings like sprinkles or nuts may be added optionally.

Baking at 350°F for 25 to 30 minutes lightly browns the edges and sets the layers, producing bars that have a crisp base with a sweet, chewy topping combining chocolate and coconut textures. Cooling on a wire rack before slicing helps the bars hold together cleanly.

The bars serve well as a festive treat for gatherings or as an easy holiday dessert. They can be stored covered tightly at room temperature to preserve freshness for up to five days, making them suitable for making ahead or gifting during holiday occasions.
