Christmas Snickerdoodles Recipe
Description
This recipe uses a base of flour, cream of tartar, baking soda, and salt combined with creamed butter and sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract to make the dough. The dough is shaped into balls, rolled in cinnamon-sugar, and baked until set, producing soft-centered cookies with a cinnamon crust.
Once cooled, cookies are dipped halfway into melted white chocolate wafers, then decorated with Christmas sprinkles and allowed to set, adding a sweet, colorful layer that contrasts with the cinnamon sugar coating.
The dough balls can be frozen before baking for convenience, and baked cookies or dough can be stored in airtight containers refrigerated or frozen for extended freshness.
