Christmas Tree Cake Dip
Description
This Christmas Tree Cake Dip starts by pulsing Christmas tree cakes into crumbs in a food processor, then combining them with softened cream cheese, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth. Whipped topping is folded in to add lightness and creaminess. The dip is transferred to a serving bowl.
The topping is a ganache made by melting white almond bark with heavy cream, colored red with gel food coloring. It is piped decoratively over the dip and sprinkled with green sugar to resemble Christmas tree decorations. Assorted dippers such as cookies, pretzels, or graham crackers are arranged around the dip for serving.
This no-bake dessert involves layering flavors and textures, with soft cake crumbs providing sweetness and cream cheese adding tang and richness. The red and green decoration enhances the festive theme. The dip is stored in the fridge covered loosely to avoid sticking to the ganache topping.
