Cinnamon Apple Cake Recipe

Cinnamon Apple Cake is a moist dessert cake combining softened butter, sugars, eggs, and warm spices with chopped peeled apples and walnuts for texture. The cake bakes to a tender crumb dotted with fruit pieces and nutty crunch, balanced by the cinnamon seasoning. It pairs well with ice cream for a comforting treat.

Description

This Cinnamon Apple Cake features a batter made from creamed softened butter with sugar and brown sugar, beaten eggs, and vanilla extract combined with flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt. The peeled and chopped apples add moisture and fresh fruit flavor throughout, while walnuts contribute contrasting crunch.

Baked at 350°F in a greased 9-inch pan, the cake develops a golden crust with a soft interior. Baking until a toothpick comes out clean ensures the cake is cooked through but still moist. The cinnamon provides warmth that complements the apples and nuts elegantly.

The cake is best served warm and is traditionally accompanied by a scoop of ice cream for added indulgence. The recipe is straightforward and yields a homey dessert suitable for any occasion where a fruit-spiced cake is desired.
