Cinnamon Banana Bread
Description
This Cinnamon Banana Bread blends ripe mashed bananas with avocado oil or similar fats, pure maple syrup, eggs, milk, vanilla extract, flour, and baking soda. The batter creates a moist and dense bread with natural sweetness from bananas and syrup. A cinnamon swirl made from brown sugar and cinnamon is layered in the loaf pan between half portions of the batter, creating a distinct cinnamon sugar layer throughout the bread after baking.
Baking at a moderate temperature allows the loaf to cook evenly without overbrowning, producing a soft crumb that holds together well for slicing. The cinnamon swirl adds bursts of warm spice flavor that contrasts with the sweet banana base.
This bread is suitable for breakfast, brunch, or an afternoon snack. It pairs well with butter or preserves and can be served warm or cooled.
Options allow swapping brown sugar for coconut sugar, oil for butter or coconut oil, and all-purpose flour for gluten-free blends. Proper baking time ensures the loaf isn’t overbaked, keeping it moist.
