Cinnamon Roll Apple Bake (3-ingredients)
Description
This recipe starts by cutting canned cinnamon rolls into pieces and mixing them with canned apple pie filling and a sprinkle of ground cinnamon if desired. The mixture is placed in a greased baking dish and baked at 375°F until the roll pieces are golden and fully cooked. The original frosting from the cinnamon roll package is spread over the warm bake after removing it from the oven, melting slightly over the apples and baked dough pieces.
The result is a dessert with a soft, tender dough that absorbs some apple juices, enhanced by cinnamon notes and finished with a sweet glaze. The ease of preparation and use of ready-made components make it practical for a quick dessert or a last-minute crowd pleaser.
