Cinnamon Roll Bites

Cinnamon Roll Bites are made by quartering refrigerated biscuit dough and tossing it in cinnamon and brown sugar before baking in a pan. Once baked, they are drizzled with a smooth glaze of powdered sugar, butter, vanilla, and milk, creating bite-sized pastries with sweet cinnamon flavor and a soft, tender texture.

Description

This recipe uses pre-made refrigerated biscuits that are cut into quarters and coated with a mixture of cinnamon and light brown sugar. The coated biscuit pieces are then spread evenly in a greased 8x8 baking dish, drizzled with melted butter, and baked until golden and cooked through, about 20 to 25 minutes. The cinnamon-brown sugar coating caramelizes slightly during baking, lending a warm, sweet exterior.

After baking, a simple glaze is whisked together from powdered sugar, melted butter, vanilla extract, and milk to a smooth consistency and drizzled over the hot cinnamon roll bites. This adds a creamy sweetness and soft finish, complementing the tender biscuit base and cinnamon sugar coating. The final texture features soft, fluffy interiors with a sweet, flavorful crust.

Cinnamon Roll Bites offer a convenient alternative to traditional cinnamon rolls, ideal for casual snacking or sharing at gatherings. Using biscuit dough makes preparation straightforward and manageable.
